"In my 30th year as a successful elementary school teacher, I was medically retired when I became legally blind due to acute diabetes. Soon thereafter, I lost my kidneys, had an angioplasty and received a kidney transplant.
Obviously, I needed help to safely remain in my home. So, out of necessity, I began At Your Home Care, LLC, with my husband to ensure that I had caregivers to care for me who were trustworthy, caring, understanding and encouraging of someone with special needs."
